Once the planning application is submitted the design is developed to a level of information that is required for construction.


What we do

We produce detailed drawings and schedules of work that will be required for construction and to achieve a conditional approval for Building Regulations. Tenders are obtained from contractors leading to the signing of the building contract. Where applicable, we can submit information to the planners to discharge any conditions resulting from a planning approval.

You will need to research fixtures, finishes and services requirements for your building.

Tasks for others

Consultants will produce their final designs for construction. The Building Control Officer works with the design team to arrive at a conditional approval prior to start on site.
