What are the most rewarding aspects of your job? An important aspect of my job is to bring people together to solve architectural puzzles and make the client’s project a reality. It’s really satisfying to a see a client that I have never worked with before working collaboratively with a contractor that I enjoy working with and knowing that I had a part in making things go smoothly.

Where is your favourite place in the world? I have two. I like to wander around Bloomsbury as it reminds me of my first visit to London, not knowing the this amazing city would become my home. The second is Podwale Street in my home city of Wrocław as the contracts between the tall 18th Century apartment buildings on one side contrasts beautifully with the canal and park on the other. It feels a bit like a cross between Amsterdam and Regent’s Park in London.

If you were to go back in time, when and where would you go? I would wish to go back to Poland in the 1920s, to the time of 2nd Polish Republic when my country was recreated after more than 150 years of nonexistence. It would be great to experience the feeling of optimism for the future in the beautiful city of Krakow where my family comes from.

What kind of activities energise you? Nothing beats singing along to my favourite tracks while driving fast on a European road trip.

What/where is top of your bucket list? Wouldn’t a balloon ride over New York City be wonderful?
